THE MONEY: Received estimated $1.5 billion wealth in 2017 divorce from financial manager Bill Gross.

REAL ESTATE: Has invested in real estate in Southern California for more than 30 years, currently owning four homes in exclusive Irvine Cove, as well as property in Palm Desert and multiple properties in Beverly Hills.

PHILANTHROPY: Founded the Sue J. Gross Foundation in 2017. Has focused on healthcare with significant gifts to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and the nursing programs at University of California, Irvine, Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science Nursing School, Saddleback College and Fullerton College. Ongoing annual donations for Doctors Without Borders and Mercy Ships.

RECENT: The Sue J. Gross Foundation partnered with the Anne Earhart-backed Marisla Foundation in Laguna Beach on various ocean conservation causes, including the successful elimination of dry gill fishing on the California coast. Gross’ foundation also supports environmental, youth and education programs given her son Nick’s passion for empowering the next generation: Find Your Grind, Gross Labs, Tiger Woods Foundation and First Tee.
