Montage Hotels & Resorts has named Armando Campos as the new hotel manager for its flagship property Montage Laguna Beach.
Campos was previously the senior vice president of hotel operations at Fontainebleau Miami Beach for over a year, where he helped create four new restaurant concepts. He has also held roles at Loews Hotels &Co., Hilton, an investment firm and a few other Florida hotels.
The 262-room Laguna Beach resort marks a return to the Montage company for Campos, who worked at the Pendry San Diego from when it opened in 2017 until 2019.
“Armando has a keen eye for details and a profound dedication to guest satisfaction and we look forward to his leadership for both our guests and associates,” Area General Manager Mary Rogers said in a statement.
Montage Laguna Beach opened in 2003 and is Orange County’s 45th largest hotel by room count.
