The main restaurant of the newly renovated Pendry Newport Beach will be SET Steak & Sushi from Las Vegas-based Clique Hospitality.
The steakhouse is set to open alongside the 295-room resort late this summer.
“The design of the restaurant will create a picture-perfect backdrop, elevating the dining in Newport Beach to another level,” Clique Founder Andy Masi said in a statement. The interior design was overseen by Alessandro Munge and Studio Munge based in Toronto.
SET’s menu will be locally sourced and is designed by Executive Chef James Jung and San Diego Chef JoJo Ruiz.
Clique Hospitality also has restaurants at the Pendry San Diego and Pendry Chicago properties – Lionfish and Venteux.
