Eighteen Main, the restaurant development that neighbors the Centerview office property in Irvine, is adding Monaco Italian Kitchen + Bar as its fourth and final restaurant later this year.
The restaurateur Tony Monaco also opened The Blind Pig Kitchen & Bar and The Trough Sandwich Kitchen, the latter which is located at Eighteen Main as well.
“One of the reasons Monaco decided to open a second restaurant at Eighteen Main is its proximity to Centerview, which generates foot traffic from tenants and visitors alike, especially during typical “slower” restaurant times,” officials said in a statement.
The eatery counts around 17,000 square feet of redeveloped space. Centerview now counts eight total dining tenants that have opened since 2020 including KIT Coffee, SOL Mexican Cocina, Maldon’s Bistro and Porch & Swing.
Centerview is located at the 48-acre Irvine Concourse business complex owned by Irvine-based Emmes Realty Services with funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management.
