Anaheim-based Econolite, maker of traffic signals and other roadway management devices, said today it has acquired the operational business of its distribution partner, RAI Products of North Carolina. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition lets Econolite further expand its product line while strengthening its vendor relations and distribution reach particularly in the Southeast region. Econolite is part of Umovity group.
RAI Products is a distributor of traffic control and traffic safety equipment based in Charlotte.
