Virgin Galactic in Tustin said it will launch its first commercial space flight on June 29, opening the era of space tourism.
The three-person crew from the Italian Air Force and National Research Council of Italy will board VSS Unity for a 90-minute flight to conduct a series of suborbital science experiments.
Virgin Galactic said today there will be a live stream of the Galactic 01 launch from a base in New Mexico beginning at 8 a.m. Pacific time on the 29th.
The second commercial flight is expected in August.
